Today is Sunday, and Sunday is Bacon Day at my house. Saturday is pie (meat pie - sort of like pot-pies for you Americans) day, but Saturday is gone and now it is Bacon Day. Rejoice!

Bacon Day is a day of pjs (actually, who am I kidding, pjs are suitable attire for the whole weekend), listening to the radio, and keeping toasty warm with slippers and a a belly full of bacon.

What's the best way to attach wooden pieces (about the size of a Scrabble letter) to a chain for a necklace? I'm pretty sure there are tiny screws with loops on the end, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to attach those. Is there a better way to secure a loop to a (fairly solid) wooden piece? THANKS!

Hey everyone.

I am starting my own small business in the next month or two, making badges. I'll be using Etsy, Big Cartel, eBay, Myspace and a website of my own to sell them. I will be doing both custom order designs and standard designs too.

In terms of my own shop website, I'd like to have a simple, but nice looking website to sell the custom service.
Can anyone let me know how I go about designing the website and producing the code for the site itself? Do you use a website to do this for you? Has someone else done this for you? Did you have to pay for it?
Can you basically let me know everything you can in regards to this?

I'm nervous.

I'm getting sent to Emory tomorrow to go to a BSL3 Science and Safety course... so that I can train in the two summer courses that are being taught here at UGA.

What if I do terrible?! What if I forget between now and summer?

I'm excited, but a little (okay a lot) scared. I'm pretty sure that not only is this a really great opportunity, but also a test. In July the Training Coordinator position is supposed to be getting funded. I don't know if they are really going to consider me for it, but there are a number of reasons why they should. And the pessimist in me can think of a bunch of reasons why they shouldn't.

I don't even know how to do the job, not really. We've never had a training coordinator, and I'm only three classes into my graduate degree... ugh. I did do quite a bit of research looking into what other training coordinators were expected to do when I was proposing it to Leanne, so I sort of know and I'm sure that Dr. King knows because I gave him, not only my proposal, but my entire reference list. This was before I applied to the HROD masters program.

What if I get the job and no-one cooperates?

I'm not even sure if I want to do the job... what if I hate training? What if I hate working at UGA as TC?

I've made things lately, among other things I made some crystal picture frames, some bound books, some glitter glass marbles and paper rings, a carosel purse, a feathered purse, a champagne-bottletop purse, little chirplet bird rings with a egg basket ring, a bubblegum ring, sushi rings.

I need to design a T-Shirt, and it's going to be entered into a contest. I'm going to make my design in Photoshop. I'm just wondering how large I should make my image so it will translate to a HQ image when printed onto a shirt.

I just got the prints back from my first fisheye roll. I discovered they turn out the best in bright daylight, a lot of the pics I took are too dark. 
I scanned some of the negatives.
